1. Wide adaptability of fuel
In circulating fluidized bed boiler ,fuel occupies 3%of bed materials only ,and the remain are incombustible solid particles. With special hydrodynamic force features, the gas-solid and solid- solid are mixed well in the circulating fluidized bed boiler ,so after the fuel enters into hearth ,it will be quickly mixed with large amount of bed materials ,then fuel is heated to the ignition temperature ,and simultaneously, the temperature of bed is not lower obviously. Therefore ,all coals should be burnt efficiently in this boiler .if you change the coal in the operation ,combustion equipment and boiler body would also get higher combustion efficiency without any modification .
2. High efficiency combustion
The basic difference between circulating fluidized bed boiler and other boiler is combustion system. The former is composed of combustor, material collector and back-feeder. high temperature material accesses to material collector by air flow, then materials collected entersinto back-feeder through which are transported to combustor to conduct several circulating combustion .so the efficiency of combustion is higher.
3. Wide scope of load control and fast load control
The load often changes in the operation of boiler .when the load is lower 70%,the combustion efficiency and heat efficiency of the boiler is lower obviously with unstable combustion ,and sometimes normal burning cannot be maintained;However, circulating fluidized bed boiler can improve only by adjusting coal supply ,air dose and circulating fluidized bed boiler is also fast due to high air velocity of cross –section and controllable heat absolution ,which can reach 4%per min, generally.
