The burner releases heat, which is first absorbed by the water wall by radiative heat transfer. The water of the water wall boils and vaporizes, and a large amount of steam enters the steam drum for steam and water separation.
The separated saturated steam enters the superheater and continues to absorb by convection. The flue gas heat at the top of the furnace and the horizontal flue, the tail flue, and the superheated steam reaches the required operating temperature.
